opera posters
These posters were designed for Painted Sky Opera as UCO Inktank course exercise. Each poster was drafted while I was listening to the operas they represented. The designs were inspired by the music and paper-cut puppetry.
“Overture” Poster is a design for the opening show of the season.
“The Magic Flute” is an opera that features a magical rescue story created by Mozart.
“proving up” is an opera about a nebraskan family in pursuit of the american dream.
“amahl and the night visitors” features the nativity story from the perspective of a shepard boy.
