This painting was created with acrylic paint on a 48×48 inch canvas. The concept for this work was created as my love letter to women. It is inspired by a piece I created for my bachelor’s exhibition called “Chained Butterfly" that depicts a butterfly woman breaking free from chains with a powerful flight. In this piece, I wanted to share the uncomfortable, darker side of being a woman; how some women do not survive being targeted or objectified.
